Thai-Bo is a dynamic blend of Thai-Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do
and aerobics incorporating punches, knees, elbows and blocks
with pad work, circuit training and martial arts based aerobic
techniques performed to music.
Thai-Bo was born out of the need to make martial arts more
accessible to those who wanted to participate in and share
the benefits of martial arts training from a fitness point
of view without feeling the pressure to spar in class or take
part in competition.
A Thai-Bo class is a complete body workout. A short warm
up and stretching leads on to the martial arts aerobic routine
for stamina, fitness and coordination. Pad work follows which
helps increase power and balance and encourages technique
development. Next is the Thai-Bo circuit training which provides
a burst of cardiovascular activity with emphasis
